Cavatappi pasta Butter Flour Garlic Milk Chicken broth Cheddar, Gruyere, Mozzarella, & Parmesan cheese Paprika, mustard, & nutmeg Panko breadcrumbs

Ingredients

Cook cavatappi pasta for half the time on the box. Then drain and set aside.

Melt butter in a large skillet and add garlic, cooking for 30 seconds.

Whisk in the flour to make a roux.

Pour in warm milk and chicken broth. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.

Turn off the heat. Add  spices and cheese, stirring to melt.

Stir in the cavatappi.

Mix together melted butter, Panko, and Parmesan cheese.

Transfer pasta into a greased casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs. Bake for 15-20 minutes, then broil for 3-5 minutes until golden.
