Ingredients

Heat oil in a large pan and add onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes, then stir in garlic for 30 seconds.

Then add gochugaru, sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, gochujang, water, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 8-10 minutes.

Turn heat back to high. Add ramen and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add rice cakes and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring often.

Add dark green segments of green onion and fish cake, cooking for 1 minute.

Next, turn off the heat and stir in sesame oil. Season to taste.

Add your favorite toppings and serve immediately.
